Find Your Local Community Alliance

What is a Community Alliance?

Together, the words community and alliance mean “joining together for a common purpose.” The Community Alliance program fosters stronger links between the TSC Alliance, and TSC communities and individuals across the United States. A Community Alliance is an informal, yet structured, group of empowered and caring volunteers who work closely with the national TSC Alliance to accomplish the following:

  • facilitate local connections for individuals and families affected by tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC),
  • raise revenue, and
  • increase awareness while supporting the mission of the organization.

The Community Alliance program was developed specifically to drive forward the TSC Alliance mission on a local level. Local volunteers are able to more effectively support TSC individuals and families in their area while furthering the TSC Alliance mission and expanding the services available. In summary, through the mirror of the mission statement and similar goals, the Community Alliances deliver the organization’s programs and services to each local area.  Read more in our Community Alliance Overview.
