Liz joined the TSC Alliance as Research Project Manager in October 2022. She has five years of clinical research experience, including two years of undergraduate research experience at The Catholic University of America, where she graduated in 2018. As an undergrad, Liz worked in the Child Affect & Behavior Therapy Lab (CAB Lab) looking at the effectiveness of a local group therapy program for children with various psychosocial diagnoses. Liz also graduated with her Master of Public Health degree with a concentration in Maternal & Child Health at the Milken Institute School of Public Health at George Washington University in May 2022. During her graduate career, she worked on a master’s thesis assessing underrepresented groups of pregnant women in the United States and their sleep patterns. She previously worked in pediatric clinical research as a Study Coordinator at institutions such as Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (Rheumatology) and Children’s National Hospital (OB-GYN) where she participated in recruitment, data collection and entry, clinical trial coordination and academic publications. Liz also has experience in building databases and data analysis. In her free time, she likes to go rock climbing with her husband, Justin, and snuggle with her black cat, Misingo. She is excited to learn from her many experienced colleagues at TSC Alliance and work with an amazing and inspirational community.
