In this Ask an Advocate Session Laura G. Buckner, MEd, LPC, walks participants through how one‑page descriptions capture what is important to a person, what makes life meaningful, and what is important for them, including health, safety, and community belonging. Participants will learn how balancing these two perspectives can make a big difference in everyday support. Whether for a doctor’s visit, classroom, school bus, workplace, or other community setting, these descriptions can be adapted for any environment to promote understanding and better outcomes.
