Join the Child Neurology Foundation for the 2026 Caregiver’s Compass Training

The Caregiver’s Compass is a virtual, therapist-led training designed to support families raising children with complex healthcare needs. Participants will learn evidence-based strategies to manage the social and emotional challenges of caregiving, strengthen family relationships, and protect the mental well-being of themselves and their household.

Participants will gain skills to:

  • Manage stress and grief: Learn how to recognize and navigate survival responses and recurring grief.
  • Strengthen relationships: Apply partnering techniques to foster family cohesion and support the whole family.
  • Build resilience and healing: Use community as a source of strength and develop strategies to persist through challenges.

Participants will attend an interactive session (60 minutes each, four total) via Zoom once per week to discuss what you’ve learned, interact with your peers, learn strategies and ask the trainer questions related to the module.

Interactive session dates are scheduled ahead of time to allow interested trainees an opportunity to make sure they’re available.
