In addition to her role as Community Alliance Chair for Michigan, Carly Kaye is a leader and innovator in the greater TSC community. Inspired by her son, Logan, Carly is determined to make a difference. After running her own business, she was inspired to start creating apparel and merchandise that would raise awareness for TSC. In 2018, the TSC Swag Store was born and made its debut at the World TSC Conference in Dallas, Texas. Today, Carly works with local engravers and embroiders to create unique and inspiring items and donates 30 percent of all proceeds to the TSC Alliance. Carly was recognized as 2018 Volunteer of the Year for her fundraising success as well as her ability to connect families with resources.
Carly has continued to step up her efforts to support the TSC Alliance. In addition to her role as Community Alliance Chair for Michigan, Carly was an integral member of the 45th Anniversary Gala planning committee in 2019, has continued to raise awareness and funds for the TSC Alliance through her TSC Swag store, collaborated to create 13 Step Forward to Cure TSC® National Virtual Walk-Run-Ride team shirts that resulted in over $13,000 in proceeds for the TSC Alliance (over 800 shirts and 560 orders) and was instrumental in the success of all four of our online auctions this year.
