Funding Opportunity Announcement: Seed Grants to Utilize TSC Biosamples
Again in 2019, the TSC Alliance is announcing a funding opportunity for Biosample Seed Grants to support research using blood, tissue, and buccal cells from the TSC Biosample Repository. The award may support laboratory supplies, personnel costs, services, or equipment necessary to conduct the proposed research.
New Clinical Trial Finder Tool
The TSC Alliance has partnered with Clinical Trial Connect to develop a user-friendly Clinical Trial Finder Tool to help individuals and families affected by TSC participate in relevant clinical trials. Save the Date for the 2020 International TSC Research Conference
The International Tuberous Sclerosis Complex Research Conference 2020: A Vision for the Future will take place November 12-14, 2020 at the Royal College of Physicians in London, UK. The conference will be organized by the Tuberous Sclerosis Association.

TSC Biosamples Available at No Cost to Researchers
Are you looking for samples from TSC patients to use in your lab? The TSC Biosample Repository has a growing collection of samples tied to phenotypic data. In most cases, we can ship these samples at no charge to the investigator. By the end of May 2019, we have shipped 749 samples for use in diverse projects, ranging from quantification of sphingolipids in plasma to investigating mitochondrial DNA heteroplasmy.
