This scholarship was created in honor of Al Marshall, who dedicated more than 25 years to partnering with the epilepsy community for the betterment of individuals
impacted by seizures. The scholarship will provide one deserving Fellow an opportunity to attend the 2026 American Epilepsy Society Annual Meeting by covering all travel and registration costs.
To be eligible you must:
Have a doctoral-level degree, e.g., MD or PhD or equivalent and be either a clinical fellow enrolled at the time of the meeting (December 4-8, 2026) in a relevant neurology, neurology subspecialty, or neurological surgery fellowship program approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education at an institution in the United States, or a postdoctoral research fellow at the time of the meeting (December 4-8, 2026) in neuroscience or another field relevant to epilepsy at an established academic or non-profit research institution in the United States. Unfortunately, healthcare providers licensed in Massachusetts, Minnesota, or Vermont are not eligible.
